        How delivery works with HomeTweaks

Delivery companies:
  • All of our furniture deliveries are made by Kinetic Logistics. Please note that all deliveries are subject to the terms and conditions stated both here and on the Kinetic Logistics websitePlease ensure you have read all the delivery information on this page carefully before you place an order.

  • All of our other items are delivered by either Parcelforce or Royal Mail

Delivery charges:

  • Delivery is free for all furniture orders. Delivery for other items such as homewares (clocks, mirrors etc) and kitchenware will be charged at our standard rates. These are shown against those items.

    • Full delivery rates will be deducted from all refunds offered to customers who choose to return their items (except where an item has been damaged or defected  through no fault of the customer). These rates are as follows:
  • Small Items £23.00 (0 - 210,000 cm3)*
  • Medium Items £34.00 (211,000 - 350,000 cm3)*
  • Large Items £45.00 (351,000 - 754,000 cm3)*
  • Extra Large items £65.00 (755,000 plus cm3)*
  • *(Multiply H x W x D to calculate the volumetric size)

  • Timescale for furniture orders:

    • If you are located within our supplier's standard mainland delivery areas, and the item is in stock, we aim to have your items delivered within two weeks. Should your postcode fall outside our supplier's standard mainland delivery area (postcodes are given above), delivery times may vary. We will aim to give you an approximate  timescale for delivery before placing your order - simply contact us atinfo@home-tweaks.co.uk.

    • All furniture deliveries are booked in by telephone 2-3 days in advance so that you know when to expect your consignment. Orders will only be scheduled for delivery if a delivery contact telephone number is supplied. If you do not provide a telephone number when you place the order we will contact you by email asking you to supply one. This may cause a delay to your delivery.

    • Please note that once a furniture delivery has been booked, it is the customer's responsibility to make sure they are available, or have made the necessary arrangements to accept the product on the stated delivery date. In order to keep delivery costs low, our delivery company only make one attempt at delivery. If the customer is unable to accept the delivery on the first attempt, a second full delivery charge will be levied.

    Access for furniture deliveries:

    • Please note that our supplier's insurance policy only covers delivery to your door, and does not extend to moving furniture up steps or inside the property. As a result, although the drivers will be of assistance wherever possible, we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused. All deliveries are one-man deliveries, so please be aware that the driver may require assistance if access is difficult.

    • Please also be aware that our delivery company may deliver items on a pallet, especially to outlying areas. Pallets are normally only delivered kerbside, so arrangements will need to be made to take the furniture indoors.
